FULMINARE (Amino acids with electrolytes in dextrose with calcium) Injections are indicated as a source of calories and protein for patients requiring parenteral nutrition when oral or enteral nutrition is not possible, insufficient, or contraindicated. FULMINARE may be used to treat negative nitrogen balance in patients. It is also helpful in treatment of cachexia, malnutrition and improves survival rate in CKD patients.

Contains amino acids along with electrolytes:
EAA: L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine, L-lysine HCl, L-Methionine L-Phenylalanine, L-Threonine, L-Tryptophan, L-Valine.
NEAA: L-Alanine, L-Arginine, Glycine, L-Praline, L-Tyrosine, L-Serine, L-Aspartic acid, L-L-Cysteine, L-Glutamic acid, L-Histidine& Electrolytes.
Delays CRF (chronic renal failure) progression – by correcting the plasma concentration of EAA (essential amino acids) leading to sufficient protein synthesis & serum albumin regulation.
Reduces dialysis frequency by substituting protein lost in HD/CAPD/PD.
2.5g amino acid/kg/day for infants up to 10kg
For infants and children larger than 10kg
The total daily dose of amino acids should be up to 25g amino acids/day
For the first 10kg of body weight plus 1.0 to 1.25g amino acid for each kg of
body weight over 10kg
